Barrels recovery

In addition to the decoration and customization of used barrels with their logos or brands for marketing and advertising campaigns, we have also specialized in the recovery of barrels for the production of wine and different liquors (rum, brandy, whiskey, etc.).

Our barrel recovery process allows us to give a new useful life to these through an internal regeneration process and external sanding. It is a detailed process, barrel by barrel, in which we recover almost all the inner layers of the wood barrel. With milling, we eliminate the crystallized wine solids in the pores of the wood, keeping in part the original toast of the barrel.

Subsequently, to achieve bigger disinfection, we can perform an intensive steam treatment, even inside the stave, eliminating moulds, bacteria, and various yeasts such as Brettanomyces.

The process is completed with the exterior sanding that gives a real image of its original appearance.
